Gabrielle Union's See-Through Dress Combined Shimmer and Sheer

Gabrielle Union  may not be an official Bond girl, but after her latest look, it wouldn't be surprising if the  Bring It On  alumnae managed to snag a role in the long-running spy franchise. Over the weekend, she was on hand to celebrate her husband  Dwyane Wade 's Miami Heat statue unveiling. Together, retailers Revolve and FWRD hosted a James Bond-inspired celebration for the occasion and Union arrived looking like the ultimate femme fatale. Union's long, slinky gown featured alternating rows of sheer black material and shimmering bands. It made for a graphic mix of shimmer and shine between swathes of skin. The dress also featured halter neckline and ankle-skimming length. The actress and mother finished the look off with a rhinestone-embellished bag and strappy black heels. Of course, it was a family affair as Union and Wade posed alongside their kids at the event. Alexander Tamargo/Getty Images for FWRD Alexander Tamargo/Getty Images for FWRD The ...

Simon Cowell Shared a Heartbreaking Message After Liam Payne's Death

Simon Cowell is the latest celebrity to pay tribute to Liam Payne. On Wednesday, the One Direction singer passed away in Argentina at age 31. Shortly after, his bandmates shared moving messages remembering their friend. Today, Cowell offered his own words. The American Idol judge is credited as co-creating One Direction in 2010 after the members failed to find success as solo artists on the United Kingdom's The X Factor. After they each auditioned individually, Cowell encouraged Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson to come together as a group. Cowell later signed One Direction to his former record label, Syco Music.

"You never really know how you feel about someone until a moment like this happens," Cowell shared on Instagram. "Liam, I am devastated. Heartbroken. And I feel empty. And I want you to know how much love and respect I have for you. Every tear I have shed is a memory of you."

"This is so difficult to put into words right now," Cowell added. "I went outside today, and I thought about so many times we had together. I wanted to let you know what I would always say to the thousands of people who would always ask me. What is Liam like? And I would tell them you were kind, funny, sweet, thoughtful, talented, humble, focused. And how much you loved music. And how much love you genuinely had for the fans."

Cowell continued his message by remembering his time on The X Factor, explaining that he first met Payne when he was just a teenager. Cowell went on to mention Payne's son, Bear, and how proud he was to see him maintain his reputation for being sweet and kind.

"I had to tell you when you were 14 that this wasn't your time. And we both made a promise that we would meet again. A lot of people would have given up. You didn't," he wrote. "You came back and within months the whole world knew Liam. And you never forgot the fans. I watched you spending so much time with people who had wanted to meet you. You really cared."

"And we reminisced about all of the fun times we had together. And how proud you were to be a Dad. After you left, I was reminded that you were still the sweet, kind boy I had met all of those years ago. I have met your son, Bear. He has your smile and that twinkle in his eye that you have," Cowell finished. "And he will be so proud of everything you have achieved. And how you achieved it."

I always thought of the 5 of you in the band as brothers. And regarding their messages today I believe you were. And now Liam, I can see the effect you had on so many people. Because you left too soon," Cowell finished. "Rest in peace my friend. And I am sending my love, thoughts, and prayers to your family."

Michelle Obama Put a Fierce Twist on the Pantsuit in Head-to-Toe Animal Print

With just 9 days left until the 2024 Presidential Election,   Michelle Obama   is ready for a fight—at least, judging by her latest look on the campaign trail. On Saturday, the former First Lady attended a rally in support of the Democratic nominee,   Vice President Kamala Harris , in the swing state of Michigan while seemingly sending the opposing party a subliminal message with her outfit.  Looking fierce in a black and brown leopard print pantsuit from Theory, Obama wore a single-breasted blazer with sharp shoulders and coordinating slim-fit trousers. She layered a black top underneath and accessorized with a pair of black round-toe pumps. Obama continued the symbolism with touches of blue (the color of the Democratic Party)—including a set of blue stones that embellished her gold hoop earrings and a bold blue manicure.  Getty Her hair was worn in braids and pulled back into a low-slung ponytail, and she finished off her glam with a nude glossy lip and...
