Demi Moore is opening up about how her outlook has changed and how she’s managed to find “great beauty” amid Bruce Willis’s ongoing dementia battle. During an October 13 appearance at the 2024 Hamptons International Film Festival, the Substance actress detailed how she’s had to shift her mindset away from “holding on to what was” to a “deep acceptance” of the disease after her ex-husband was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia last year.
Moore shared a new update on Willis’s health at the film festival, where she accepted a Career Achievement in Acting Award. While chatting with a live audience at the fest, the Ghost alum–who previously said she Adsterra: https://tinyurl.com/54364v6v

The Indecent Proposal star said that this acceptance had helped her form a new relationship of “great beauty” with the Die Hard actor. "What I always encourage is to just meet them where they're at, “ she continued. “When you're holding on to what was, I think it's a losing game. Part of that entails not taking any moment for granted, as Moore shared that just two days earlier, she’d spent some quality time with Willis and her daughter Rumer’s granddaughter Louetta. The actress said that she was grateful for “being able to share with whatever we have, for however long we have it.”
Moore isn’t the only one who’s adopted this mindset, as the couple’s daughter Tallulah Willis revealed she’s focusing on the present during a September appearance on the Today show. “Adsterra: https://tinyurl.com/54364v6v
